Jacob, a fifth year graduate student, is a proud native of St. Louis, MO. In 1999, he received his B.A. in Fundamentals: Issues and Texts from the University of Chicago. After working for a failed dot-com, he enrolled in the philosophy program at UCR, where he received his M.A. in 2003.
While interested in many areas of philosophy, he is currently working on the application of pluralistic ethical theories to international relations.
Outside of philosophy, his interests are French horn, folk singing, Byzantine chant, church history, and science fiction.
