After more than 30 years of working in the private sector, Jayne was hired in June 1999 by the Department of Economics; she was promoted to Financial Assistant in 2001. She left Economics in 2006 for a promotion to Personnel/Payroll Coordinator for the School of Education, and was hired by the Philosophy Department as MSO in 2007, reclassified to FAO in 2009.
